Making Nigerian Social Commerce Scam-Free.
Millions of Nigerians buy and sell on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Jiji every day. Yet every deal is poisoned by fear: buyers afraid of "what I ordered vs what I got", and sellers losing money on cancelled pay-on-delivery waybills.
The Trust Gap in Social Commerce
Traditional retail relies on massive e-commerce warehouses. But in Nigeria, real commerce lives in direct chats with phone vendors in Computer Village, fashion designers in Aba, and thrift merchants on Instagram. These merchants cannot afford ₦5,000 lost on dispatch riders when buyers ghost.
The Delivery Code Solution
We engineered the two-phase Delivery Code protocol specifically for physical goods in Nigeria. The buyer locks payment in escrow before dispatch. The dispatch rider hands over the sealed parcel once the buyer verifies their 4-digit Delivery Code at the gate. The buyer then has a protected inspection window to unbox and test inside before funds are released.
